The process in summary:
Fill out the application or Family Referral Form. The Foundation's Christmas Family Gift Event (CFGE) committee will review all applications & referrals and will select families to receive the gift. The committee will also contact the families directly and deliver the good news. The Foundation will collect meal supplies and gifts via donations, then schedule (with the family) a pick up time and date just before Christmas. The family must reside in Indian River County or close surrounding areas and be present to receive their gift.

Submitting a family for consideration:
If you know of a family or you are a family who is struggling and would like to be considered to receive our Christmas Family Gift, fill out the Application & Referral Form. This form must be filled out completely in order to be considered for selection. If you refer a family, please do not guess at the information you provide. Its best if you tell the family about the program and have them fill out the application themselves. Guessing could lead to children receiving bad gifts or clothes that do not fit. Also note that a referral is not done anonymously, the family will be told who referred them to the program. All applications must be submitted by 11:59pm November 14th, 2021.
Selection Process:
The Foundation has a committee of at least 3-5 people who will review all applications & referrals and select the families to receive gifts. This decision will be solely at the committee’s discretion. The number of families selected is solely based off of the funds available for the CFGE. Kristina Conn Foundation does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We will do our very best to assist as many families as possible, however, please be aware selection is not guaranteed.
Notification & Delivery:
The Foundation will notify the families who were selected to receive our Christmas Family Gift no later than THANKSGIVING day. The objective is to inform these families early enough to feel comforted knowing they will have a meal and gifts under their Christmas tree Christmas day. We will set up a pick up day and time to pick up the gifts when we inform you that you have been selected. All gifts will be pick up between Dec 20-23, just before Christmas.
